Survey Your Clients

Every now and then survey your clients and ask them how you’re doing.  But make it timely, if you  provide seasonal service ask them mid season and then at the end of the season, if you provide daily service ask them every few months, if you provide a service only once every few years, ask them every time you complete service for them.

There are many benefits to surveying your clients including:

  • Answers are quick and top of mind, which means they’re more reliable and potentially more honest than long written out answers.
  • Surveys are short and to the point so people are more apt to do them.

However, they won’t provide you with specific suggestions or complaints. Use surveys for basic satisfaction but not as complete feedback.
