1. Keep your entries brief and relevant to the content of your site and your reader’s interest.

2. Unless your business is very casual (i.e. a hobby) don’t get personal in your blog.

3. Sell wisely in your entries; tell a story about how your product or service helped someone.

4. Linking to relevant sites and articles enforces your point and increases your credibility.

5. If you can’t update your blog at least weekly shut it down and do a quarterly newsletter.
